Portable Inverted "L" Antenna
Here's some info on the homebrewed inverted "L" antenna we were using for Winter Field Day. It can be quickly set-up and taken down by one person and be utilized by someone with limited space for a HF antenna. The 9:1 end fed UNUN is sold on Craigslist and FB:

The tripods are speaker stands from Walmart:

Staked each tripod into the ground with a pair of j-shaped pieces of rebar. Used a 10ft section of 1-1/2" PVC pipe with each tripod as the mast, connected 35ft of 14ga wire to the positive post of the UNUN, and zip-tied the wire and matchbox to the bottom of one PVC pipe. Ran the wire up the length of the PVC pipe and zip-tied that to the top end. Raised the center post of the staked tripod to about 5ft and slipped the PVC pipe over the center post to make the vertical portion of the inverted "L":

The other end of the horizontal portion of the inverted "L" is zip-tied to the top of the PVC mast and the tripod is staked down ~25ft from the vertical and assembled the same as the vertical mast. A small hose clamp was wrapped around one of the vertical tripod's j stakes and four 35ft 14ga wires were clamped to the stake with short piece of wire connected to the UNUN negative post. The four ground radial wires were fanned out from under the vertical into roughly a "X" relative to the horizontal portion of the antenna. Connect a coax from UNUN to an antenna tuner and get on the air:

This was the setup on field day with the vertical nearest to the Ramada and the horizontal portion running roughly north to south. With a MFJ-929 tuner I've been able to tune this antenna for all the bands from 40-6M with 10M, 15M, and upper part of 20M (14.220-.350) not needing any tuning.
